  1. Mix all the ingredients into a pot.
  2. Bring to a boil, uncovered, and simmer for 10 to 15 minutes.
  3. Remove from heat, and serve with lamb or mutton.
Recipe Notes

All of the brown sugar substitute I can find are double strength, so if you are using regular brown sugar or a substitute that isn’t as concentrated, use 7 tablespoons.
